Now hiring! Social Media Coordinator

Recon Marketing is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Social Media Coordinator to join our team. As a Social Media Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing the social media content and platforms for our esteemed clients. This is a part-time position, requiring 5 to 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies for multiple clients, ensuring their brand message is effectively communicated across various platforms.
  • Manage and maintain social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, and more.

Content Creation and Curation:

  • Create engaging and compelling content that aligns with the clients’ brand identities and target audiences.
  • Utilise graphic design tools such as Canva to create visually appealing social media posts and graphics.

Planning and Scheduling:

  • Develop a content calendar for each client, planning and scheduling posts in advance to ensure a consistent online presence.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and adjust content strategy accordingly.

Audience Engagement and Growth:

  • Foster engagement with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Implement strategies to enhance client’s social media following, including advertising, participating in relevant communities, and utilising AI-powered techniques.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyse social media performance metrics using analytics tools, providing regular reports and optimisation recommendations to clients.
  • Stay informed about the latest social media trends, platforms, and algorithms to effectively guide client strategies.

 Requirements:

Proficiency in Canva and Graphic Design:

  • Demonstrated experience in using Canva or similar graphic design tools to create visually appealing social media content and graphics.

Content Writing Skills:

  • Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to create engaging and persuasive copy for social media posts.

Social Media Strategy and Planning:

  • Experience in developing and executing effective social media strategies to meet client objectives.
  • Strong ability to plan, schedule, and organize social media content calendars.

Building and Engaging a Following:

  • Proven track record of growing social media followings and engaging with audiences.
  • Preferred understanding of AI technology and its application in social media marketing.

Creative and Analytical Thinking:

  • Innovative approach to content creation and problem-solving, with the ability to analyze data and adjust strategies accordingly.
